Easy Feng Shui- Articles

  1. Feng Shui Primer

I have practiced Intuitive Feng Shui for the past seven years. It is simple, very common sense and a lot of fun. This is the first in a series of posts in which I want to attempt to take some of the mystery out of the practice of Feng Shui by looking at the basics from a western metaphysical point of view.  I want to show you how simple it is to empower yourself through the intentional placement of objects in your environment.

  2. Basic Feng Shui for the Bedroom

The basic idea of Feng Shui is the movement of Chi or life energy.  Doors are the mouth of Chi windows are the eyes of Chi or how Chi enters.  So you want the Chi to enter and circulate through out unimpeded.  You want your home to support you especially your bedroom.  Your bedroom is your starting point you want it to be a place that supports rest and rejuvenation.  No treadmill in the bedroom it implies that you have to work at your relationship and it is not conducive to rest especially if it’s dusty, then it’s conducive to guilt.

  3. Easy Feng Shui- The #1 Cure

The previous post gave you the bagua and what each section represents and the color and element associated with each.  After looking at the properties of the nine areas of the bagua and comparing it to your house you may be concerned that things don’t match up.  Not to worry!  That is what “cures” are for.  Whatever the issue, there is a cure.  We are going to deal with the Number One Cure in this article.

  4. Feng Shui Made Easy- Using Color, Elements and Shapes as Cures

When practicing Feng Shui, the objective is to improve the flow of Chi (energy). Sometimes the layout of your home or your furnishings and décor conflicts or impedes the Chi. There are many ways or “cures” to fix these situations. Colors and “elements”, among other things, can be used as cures if a conflicting color or element is present.
There is a creative cycle among the elements and a destructive cycle.

  5. Easy Feng Shui – The Relationship Corner and the Master Bedroom Part 1

The master bedroom is the place to really treat your self well.  Have beautiful things that are a pleasure to look at and make you feel good.  Be sure that the last thing you see before falling asleep and the first thing you see when you wake up gives you a feeling of happiness and contentment.

Just as there are many prosperity areas in the Bagua aside from the Prosperity Corner, there area many relationship areas aside from the Relationship Corner.

  6. Easy Feng Shui – Relationship Corner and the Master Bedroom Part 2

Think serenity, rest and balance in the master bedroom.  Every object and piece of furniture and their placement should support you.  If you have night stands keep an equal number of objects on them.  In Feng Shui there is a concept called the “Power Position”. This is a symbol of protection.  It looks like this; A house with a mountain behind it, a small hill on either side and a stream flowing in front of it.

  7. Easy Feng Shui –Relationship Areas- Helpful People and Travel

Keep your Helpful People Area free of clutter. You don’t want to impede the help that is on its way.  Keep it clean and dusted because that is simply respectful to your Helpful People as well as to your intention.

The Helpful People and Travel area of the bagua is also a relationship area.  The Helpful People and Travel area of the bagua (HPT) is located in the front right corner of your home to the right of the main entry and career area.

  8. Easy Feng Shui –Relationship Areas- Happy Family Area

The Happy Family area is where we can make an energetic intention to bless, forgive and release past family energy so that we can be empowered.

The Happy Family area is about people in your life that feel like family as well as your biological family.   Standing in the middle front of your home it is located on the left in the middle between Self Cultivation and Knowledge and the Prosperity corner.

  9. Fame and Reputation Gua

    FAME AND REPUTATION GUA

I am hoping that through these articles you see that you are the creator.  With your intention, using Feng Shui as a tool, you change your life.  The cures and enhancements you make are physical affirmations of your intentions.  They empower your intentions by reminding you of them every time you see them.

  10.

    Prosperity Gua

    PROSPERITY GUA

The next couple of articles deal with Prosperity. There are many areas in the bagua that are related to Prosperity. The Prosperity Corner in the bagua has to do with luxury.  It is a Power Corner in Feng Shui so it is due respect and reverence.

  11. Feng Shui Made Easy- More Prosperity Areas of the Bagua

    Happy Family gua

    HAPPY FAMILY GUA

Another prosperity area is the Happy Family area.  This area is in the middle left of the bagua in front of the Prosperity Corner.  The element is wood, the color is green the shape is rectangular or columnar.
